Interactive Periodic Table
This periodic table describes the various elements, families of elements, and other information like orbital arrangements, and basic information about each element. Spend some time exploring the various tools. This is a good place to check your work on electron orbital diagrams.
A definition of chemistry: Look at the following websites. Find a definition for the word chemistry on each site and then come up with your own definition of the word chemistry. We will share these with the class. Make sure to create a word doc and write all your info there and include a short web citation (just the address). Your own definition will the the last one and should include what you think are the best ideas from each site. You can also just google or search for chemistry definitions on the web. You are not limited to what you find here. (9.18.11)
